ROJ
Something in the dark on LV-227
The research station went quiet three weeks ago. You are what the company sent to find out why.
ROJ is a top-down survival horror roguelite. You fight in near-total darkness with a flashlight that drains as you stand still — movement is the only thing that charges it. The swarm tracks sound. Standing still keeps you hidden but leaves you blind. Running keeps you lit but brings them straight to you.
Features
- Ten landing zones — from the base and storm flats to crystal caves, laboratories, a reactor and the open planet surface
- 25+ creature types including flayers, gestators, weavers and carrion feeders
- Six distinct bosses — among them a pack alpha whose swarm stays standing as long as she does
- 28 weapons, from a service pistol to a disintegrator
- Nests hide supplies, but tearing one down brings the swarm down on you
- Level editor — build your own maps and play them
- Daily challenge with mutators and a shared seed
- Full controller support, including menu navigation — plays well on handhelds
- 15 languages
